Face Lift Izmir
Those who want to reduce the signs of aging and achieve younger and tighter skin can achieve a more defined facial contour, get rid of wrinkles and reduce the traces of time with face lift surgeries.

Face Lift - Rhytidectomy
Genetic factors, lifestyle, poor nutrition, and aging can cause sagging and deep wrinkles in the facial skin. With sagging skin, forehead lines deepen, eyebrows may droop, eyelids can sag, lines around the mouth and nose become more pronounced, neck fat may accumulate, and jaw contours can become irregular. As a result, a person can appear both tired and older than they actually are.
To reduce signs of aging and achieve a younger, firmer appearance, face lift surgeries can help patients regain more defined facial contours, reduce wrinkles, and diminish signs of time.
While face lifts do not stop aging, they can turn back the appearance of aging by 15-20 years. It is a highly effective surgery that allows for comprehensive correction. It is not typically chosen for minor issues but is the most effective and lasting solution when the skin is too severely damaged for non-surgical aesthetic treatments.
What is a Face Lift?
A face lift, or rhytidectomy, is an aesthetic surgery performed to correct facial sagging, tighten the skin, and help individuals look younger. This surgery is suitable for those whose skin elasticity has not completely disappeared but is too much for dermacosmetic treatments to fix, and who are in good general health and psychologically prepared for the procedure.
Face lifts can be combined with other aesthetic procedures such as rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery),and dermal fillers based on the patient's needs and the recommendations of aesthetic surgeons. Face lifts are performed under general anesthesia, and various surgical techniques can be used during the procedure.
How is a Face Lift Performed?
The techniques and additional procedures used during a face lift depend on the patient's age, skin type, degree of aging, and the position of the facial bones.
Depending on the extent of skin sagging and the patient's goals, a face lift can include full face lift, partial face lift, and neck lift.
In a traditional face lift, incisions usually start at the hairline, extend around the back of the ear, and end at the lower part of the head. Subcutaneous tissues and muscles are tightened. The procedure targets repairing deep tissue sagging beneath the skin, and excess skin is removed before closing the incisions. If there is significant sagging in the neck area, an additional incision under the chin may be necessary.
If the patient has issues such as fat accumulation under the chin, skin sagging, and looseness in the neck skin, neck lift procedures can be combined with the face lift.
After a successful procedure, once post-operative swelling subsides, the patient can look significantly younger and experience a substantial boost in self-confidence.
